The charity has always had a problem with a base for its humanitarian operation. Our Romania-based trustee and our american sister charity, Kings Love, have always strived for a place of 'our' own.

The previous feeding centre was from a rented property. Maintenance costs were high and the rent increased annually.

Through a terrific effort of a host of organisations and individuals, we were proud to contribute sufficient funds to allow a plot of land to be bought and a prefabricated building to be erected. The building was still taking place at the time of writing (July 2005)

This building will provide a focal point for the children to get aid, basic food, clothing and medical attention. We hope that eventually permission can be obtained for the building to offer emergency accommodation for children in dire medical need.

It was very pleasing to note that, amongst the volunteers, were former streetchildren
