The children receive no medical attention. Wounds are left to fester, infections remain unchecked, common diseases can prove fatal. With no toothcare they suffer the constant agony of tooth decay.

With no money to pay for simple medical attention, the children suffer pain that can be so easily prevented

A minority of Romanian folk often attack, or murder these children, to drive them out of their neighbourhood. Children are abducted so they can be dissected and their organs sold on the black market. Paedophiles come from all over Europe to prey on these young children. These children sometimes "disappear". Pimps drive the children into prostitution, often for little more than the price of a bread roll. They can expect protection from very few of the policemen. The police themselves move the children along in wholesale round-ups.

They live wherever they can. In the summer they can live on the street. In the winter they have to find shelter, in caves or sometimes in the sewers.
